“Arnolfo di Cambio” lower secondary
school is set in three different towns in Tuscany:
Colle di Val d’Elsa, Casole d’Elsa and Radicondoli.
Our classes are in the central Institute of Colle di Val d'Elsa.
The name “Colle di Val d’Elsa” means “Hill on the valley of river Elsa”. In fact, the river has been the core of the city development throughout its history.
Located in the heart of Tuscany and strategically situated between Florence and Siena, the city lies down along the great medieval “Via Francigena” - the ancient road used during the Middle Ages by pilgrims from northern Europe making pilgrimages to the holy city of Rome.
Today our town is famous for its production of crystal. It is called "the Crystal Town".
